Yeah, looks like they've set this up as a single page app but they are using Disqus for comments, which was not really built around that concept. I have a feeling their are some loose ends in their code where a user visits Page A then navig

I'll be the grouchy contrarian and observe that I frequently don't like the more highly voted submissions. Seems the high point submissions are frequently pop science or culture articles (e.g., "Amateur astronomers discover a planet with

The counterargument is that all of these tasks are better suited for a calendar rather than an open-ended to-do list.

I don't understand what these "tags" are that they are referring to? I guess I really just do not understand what this product does. Anyone care to enlighten me? EDIT: Thanks to everyone who replied, I do have a cleared idea now. This video

Thankfully they've fixed this in Mountain Lion, but the "page turning" effect in the Lion version of iCal was for me an example of infuriatingly poor design. Want to scoot ahead eight months? Please wait one second between each month while

Yes, I think you are correct. Digging deeper, I see that libraries are added via pull request and that the Nivo Slider library was added 11 days ago. Other libraries that have been there longer (such as jQuery) continue to have old versions

What's the policy on previous versions of libraries? I noticed, for example, that only the latest version (3.1) of the jQuery plugin Nivo Slider is available. The last versions (<= 3.0.1) are returning 404s. Given that the previous vers

Funny, because I agree with you about the primary purpose ad the admin being a data browser -- but my biggest complaint about the admin is that it does not have a "view" mode for a record, but only an "edit" mode. This makes it difficult fo

Whether it's "personal" is not relevant -- Twitter's policy prohibits publishing information that is "private and confidential." Since his corporate email address is neither, it would appear Twitter's grounds for suspension are quite weak.

Just over 2.4 million Americans died in 2010 (source: http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/fastats/deaths.htm ). So basically, this study is making the claim that prescription sleeping pills are responsible for 12-20% of all deaths in the U.S. That s

There are plenty of good ideas on how to do this, for example: http://economix.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/04/10/how-to-really-s... Unfortunately, the political will to implement these ideas is almost entirely lacking. Also, while most people
