Not necessarily but it does help. These tutorials focus mainly on the Berkeley Sockets API which can be exposed as-is (or with slight modification) to many languages beyond just C/C++.

I agree with your conclusion to not write cli tools in Javascript. However, packaging node in a binary is pretty much what electron does today, albeit with a GUI. Regardless, it's not a problem I wish to spend any effort to solve since

This is essentially what I was referring to with my comment below. If you can improve the installation experience such that I don't have to care that you developed with node.js, so much the better. If I were a node.js developer I surel

Feedback was explicitly requested. That was my feedback on installation. It's not entitled and has nothing to do with the project being free or open source. Where'd that come from?

How is RAD Basic guaranteeing 100% VB6 compatibility _including_ COM components? You'd probably want a 32-bit Windows OS to execute that native code correctly. Are they doing some sort of emulation here or is it just completely not cov

Oh but there is shared game state! Most of SRAM data is synced for ALTTP and there's even a PvP feature so you can slash at each other with swords and use some of the items to damage each other. Of course you can enable/disable wh
