I'd love to see it incorporate points over time too. You've got the post age right on the page, you should be able to factor that in. Although, perhaps 'hot' stories are just the ones towards the top of the page anyway.

Better question: Are people who genuinely ask this (as opposed to for the topic of a blog post) the kind of person you'd want to hire?

Is it my imagination, or has the number of sign-ups dropped dramatically since introducing the £6 fee? I don't think the amount being asked for is unreasonable, considering the speakers, the beer and pizza, and I agree with why it was intro

Well, it's definitely cool, but what you're saying then is use with caution, because they're bound to find out ;) Good press for them though and a nice little gem by you. Great work!

Presumably the duplication of the pull quotes and lack of the video comes from copy & pasting from the original web page (for whatever reason). If you're curious (and not that it matters for his story), the author, Michael G. Santos, in

I wish this post were written in a less sarcastic tone and more directly. It's an important topic and deserves to be less off putting than it otherwise seems at first.

This event has traditionally booked up fast, although the new (modest) fee has helped slow down the rate at which that happens. I wouldn't wait too long.
