Wow, that's amazing that they were so willing to try and help others. However, reading this 7 days before I take my 4 year old and twin 1 year olds to Italy was not the best timing on my part.

If these people where making half as much as they claim, they wouldn't all be selling snake-oil drop-shipping courses online.

You obviously haven't seen the Nashville real estate market lately. All joking aside, how does that factor into making local-market-based salary decisions for a remote company? Isn't it hard to estimate payroll when you run the ri

I'd love to hear what has gone downhill for you. I was initially really worried about it, but haven't seen anything terrible personally.

Looks very cool, but when I signed up on my phone, I was told that I have a 24 hour trial, after which I would need to pay $15. There didn't seem to be any indication of this before I started.

This is a good read: https://www.groovehq.com/blog/focus . Remember though, every company is different. What works for one may not work for another.

Looks like somebody got tired of paying for PhraseApp http://jmp.sh/HYBObM6 Looks like an interesting project, especially if you don't mind managing the install yourself (vs. paying a company like PhraseApp).

Holy crap, this factory is three times the size of K-25, which was used to enrich uranium during WWII (and was the largest building in the world during its time).

You can't. The process will get aborted after either your set timeout or AWS's fixed timeout.

I went to school for animation. Granted, I'm not in that field now, but I thought Tarkin was spot-on. The entire film, I was thinking how well they cast a replacement.

The sad thing is, most people who share fake news will just claim that Facebook is now part of the Soros-Clinton conspiracy to support the MSM and hide the truth from the public. I like that they have a specific set of guidelines for determ

Ouch, harsh downvoting :) Guess the 2.7-4-life folks are a little sensitive. Anyways, it's great to see python continue to move forward. I just wish more devs would admit that python 2 is not the future and move on to 3.

Great, another release that python devs can refuse to use.

So, basically, there will be no way to load watchfaces or apps when their servers go down, and a lot of other things will also stop working. I've been a big advocate of Pebble for a long time. This is a great middle finger to all of us

This acquisition seems to make a lot of sense. Product Hunt is awesome, but it definitely doesn't feel like it's been able to monetize in any meaningful way. The question, of course, is how will Angellist get their $20 mil back?

This absolutely friggin sucks. I love my pebble, and I have no faith in fitbit at all. I'm sure they will shut down the product and throw the team on the next useless activity tracker.

Hahahahahaha, I've blown much, much more for the same result. Lesson learned.

If they use a 2FA service like authy, this kind of support is often built in. I don't know what these devs have in store for 2FA though.

Definitely agree about the soundtrack. I find myself listening to it while working quite a bit.

Are you confident in generating enough power from the watch body alone, or are you evaluating the strap as a contact point as well?

This is awesome. I was really bummed about the state of QT support in golang. I played with the go-qml project, but it wasn;t everything I needed. This looks amazing.

Agreed. I jumped on the X series train when the X-Pro1 first came out, and it's been an absolute joy to use. I've been especially appreciative of the firmware releases that continually improve their cameras.

Algorithm seems to really like portraits. Every one I uploaded, it scored very highly. Threw in Afghan Girl by Steve McCurry https://keegan.regaind.io/p/yBJXfxHeTEWtvtGDxgupaA to see what would happen.
