Nodejitsu did a lot for the node community by releasing some of their tools. Other offerings like nodester and nodester based solutions where only possible because of them, at least in such a short time.

Not well researched. For instance: Map-Reduce is not used to index data or to replace indexing. This is just one point. There are so many wrong assumptions in this article, that I don't know where to begin.

This is great news. I like Scala and I like how you can mix it with old Java code. Doing so you have an easy migration path and you can gain productivity at the same time.

LOL. It is always fun to use their site. I like the whole monkey stuff. They do it in a way that is fun and still keep it professional. Very nice.

You can do what you are looking for with AppJet.jar. It has a built-in RESTful dispatcher. In your example you would write a JavaScript function like: function get_c() { if (request.params.p == '0') print 'abc';

Fact is: Firefox had 4.6 Million downloads in the first 24 hours after its launch, IE9 had 2.3 Million downloads in the same period. The previous IE versions have continuously lost ground. I expect better researched articles from ZDNet.

Fantastic job. You made great progress on the IDE. To get people's trust to invest work into your platform, it is essential to provide a solution running on a server of their choice.
