Great job, but I noticed that the server gets just a B rating (ssllabs) due to: - rc4 acceptance - Session resumption (caching) No (IDs empty) - no OCSP stapling - Next Protocol Negotiation (NPN) Yes, but not signalling a

I am really not sure, but maybe people will value the watch that way. We will see.

Unfortunately, it has to be TCP. You can define other HTTP frontends thought, but then you lose SPDY for that frontend. You can use the routing capabilities of nginx in the backend to break the traffic further down.

In the described setup, HAProxy is doing SSL termination. See the gist for the cert and crypto parameters. This is getting a A+ from ssllabs.

Sure, here is a gist: https://gist.github.com/dvbportal/cccccbbf6163cfbbbce6 The frontend definition advertises spdy and http/1.1 protocols via npn. (this should be now ALPN, HAProxy supports it) The ssl_fc_npn AC

Current HAProxy already supports the handshake of SPDY/HTTP2 via NPN and ALPN. You have to route to proper backends. You also need to provide a HTTP/1.1 fallback implementation for incapable clients. Once setup that works very wel

Please don't go back to mDNSResponder for reasons mentioned in the article, like missing security updates and future update problems. If you are hit by the renumbering issue, you can reconfigure discoveryd with: $ sudo /usr&

You are going a dangerous way. As long as your team and code base are small, a self-cocked solution has its advantages. But when you use one of the frameworks, your app gets a structure that other developers can easily understand, because t

I didn't know about gitbucket and just tried it. It is a war file that brings everything. It is easy to setup and can run standalone for tests: java -jar gitbucket.war. The UI is mostly github. First impression is really good.

We are using gitblit. Installation and use is super easy. We have integrated it with LDAP for authentication and Jenkins for auto builds using hooks.

I am a long time user and fan of CouchDB. It is great to see such an active project. Those who were skeptical after Damien's leave were proofed wrong. I am especially interested in Fauxton and Cloudant's BigCouch merge.
