It’s honestly a lot more practical than people seem to think. And if electric trucks hold their value anything like ICE trucks, getting one with a tax credit at about $40k for the base model is probably the best deal in a new vehicle you ca

I’m about as “casual” of a user as possible and it’s still much less that I might theoretically need these things someday and more that I do need them, occasionally. For myself or for friends + family.

Yeah this sounds more like a crazy anecdote to me. I once had a new CTO come in at a place I’d been working at for about a year and a half, and he refused to interview any candidates that weren’t Muslim (as existing staff were replaced 1 at

F150 Lightning being unveiled in a couple days is a good example of this. The F150 is the most popular vehicle in America & this has a good chance at being a pretty big success.

This is an obvious and simple explanation yes but I think it’s only part of the story. CPI numbers are brought down by considering a lot of non-essential goods while almost everything you actually need — food, shelter, healthcare in parti

On average rents have doubled since 2006, but yes this varies from place to place. Not just in big cities though, it’s been in both cities & rural areas around me in Ohio as an example.

Somehow everyone seems has this experience, rents have continued to climb at a high rate for the last decade, and they manage to downplay this in statistics.

The implication seemed to be that it was somehow unreasonable to either see big tech as evil (which imo it often is) and suggested that they were somehow less politically influential or protected than local taxi businesses. In my opinion th

Why would it have to be exclusively? That doesn’t even make any sense, nothing works that way. There’s still a HUGE overlap. Regardless, if you actually quantify it over time, there is a sharp uptick in discussion of race and identity polit
