My (somewhat limited) experience working at semi-large tech companies (several thousand employees) was that my team and closely related teams were mostly located close together (same floor, often same area of the floor). I imagine certain r

While I can see why that tweet leads you to categorize them as "woke", I don't personally see how that has anything to do with their actions matching their stated stances, particularly as it relates to free speech.

Would you mind linking to a source about the ACLUs changing relationship to free speech? I just looked at their website and it seems like they are still centering free speech as one of their major issues and a list of actions they have take

I like them both but disappointingly, they both insult people based on superficial traits. Seems like every time Stewart talked about Mitch McConnell he would do the turtle thing where he made fun of the way McConnell looks and speaks.

I would think in that case the solution should have been to talk with the manager about the junior engineer's performance (presumably well before the 60th time) rather than to take it out directly on the junior engineer.

I have also found vitamin D to be important for my mental health. In the past I found probiotics extremely helpful for my mood as well, though lately they haven't seemed to effect me much (seems to have changed after I had a course of

Not sure what your getting at here? The person you are commenting on wasn't talking about punishing people for having a head start they were saying that people's final grade should be based on what they are capable of at the end o

The ACA plans I had available were only slightly less expensive than my COBRA, but there was not a single ACA plan available that would cover any out of network expense like my COBRA plan did. I did switch to an ACA plan after COBRA expired

It is not feasible for consumers to be informed at that level about all of the goods they consume and for most of us there I doubt there is a practical way to be informed about these sorts of things for most products even if we were to try.
