Still waiting. Unfortunately, I can't seem to transfer the DNS from namecheap to Dynect, my usual DNS provider. It keeps on coming back as "Please try again. 541." Also, it's been on my todo list for at least a month. No excuses on my end.

i get it, but there are so many good ones they could have actually used. "well... anything is possible" - when asked if something is possible "stack overflow?! i could code that in about a day. tops!" "HTML isn't programming"

When someone would tell me I had worked hard on something, I would get embarassed and shut down. I'm not sure exactly why... But I did react exactly like the NutureShock book mentions. I'm feeling pangs in my chest just thinking of all the

I do believe that is the case. I'm not questioning the reason for the uninstall. And, just to be clear, I'm not questioning his motives either. I think it's a really useful program and SDK. I just didn't like finding out it was a paid app a

I thought it was disingenuous that I got prompted to update Growl, which led me to the uninstall script, then asked me to buy through the App Store. I just kind of shrugged and didn't complete the last step. And as dotBen mentioned, my prod

I love NewRelic, it just costs too much per server. We run a bunch of slices over at Slicehost and it would costs over a thousand dollars a month to monitor them all. For now I'm just running the NewRelic free version on two of the slices.

That was a great user experience after signing up. I was hooked on earning the extra 550MB. I rarely share when apps ask me to, but I couldn't help myself. I especially liked the 5 minute time limit. I didn't want to lose out on 550MB... Up

I used OpenCongress. It's similar in that it will email your congress members based on your address. http://www.opencongress.org/contact_congress_letters/7509-H-...

This is great feedback Mike. The "Learn More" page was built a long time ago, and I forgot that it uses the value from the slider from the previous page. I'll fix that today when I launch it on the CD rates page. Thank you very much!

Thanks for the feedback. I completely agree. The top part of the site is something we're trying to shrink. Especially since a good part of our audience have smaller resolution screens.

Sorry about that. There's a good chance we'll never go outside of the US. I'm really looking for anyone's feedback on HN, if you care to comment!

Is this easy to use? Your goal is to open a new savings account. http://www.mybanktracker.com/savings We just launched our new style of rate tables, but we need more testing. It would be great to have your opinion.

The iOS 5 update errors are being reported as server failures on Apple. Although, I admit I'm not helping the problem. It took 20+ tries to finally get it to phone home correctly. http://thenextweb.com/apple/2011/10/12/apples-ios-5-upgrade

I actively hire people that don't have a CS degree. If you can build cool things, that's all I care about.

You should add SMS and phone support. I have custom scripts that do this for me through Twilio. The first two failed tests go to SMS, the next ones will call me directly on my mobile and tell me the issue using Twilio's text to voice API. I

Yes. As compared to the incumbent ($RATE) in our space, we allow consumers to get information faster in a transparent way. There are very few sites in our space that do this. We are the largest. As for our new mobile personal finance commun

I found out about this issue when a few users complained. It turns out google was indexing the pages, so sometimes those types of URLs would appear on a search page. The simplest way to combat it is to have google ignore that parameter in g

Now that they have the ability to invalidate files, there is only one lingering issue. On Mac (Firefox, Chrome and Safari) our image assets aren't delivered 100% of the time. According to the AWS team, it's due to an IPV6 bug.
