Downside is you see ads in your stream with mobile twitter which I don't see with desktop twitter.

Very nice. Hopefully it also gets rid of the super annoying "While you were gone" sections.

Works pretty well, had a minimal X11 + GL app up and running in minutes. Issue 1: Visual Studio doesn't pull header files from the target Linux system so Intellisense was useless. Issue 2: Every time I compiled something or started a d

I think he was just saying that Unity is overkill for simple projects and that was part of the impetus for creating VR Script so people wouldn't need an entire game engine to display some panoramic content.

326 GFLOPS is with 16 GPU cores. Most likely it has 4 GPU cores which would be ~82 GFLOPS @ 600 MHz.

Tegra K1 is 365 GFLOPs @ 950 MHz. Tegra X1 is > 1 TFLOP @ ~1GHz. http://www.anandtech.com/show/9289/the-nvidia-shield-android...

Most GPUs group together individual ALUs into larger units (sometimes called compute units or clusters or SMs) and each compute unit can run independent work. http://www.anandtech.com/show/8526/nvidia-geforce-gtx-9

"Last Fall, Nvidia released the Geforce GTX 970. It has 5.2 BILLION transistors on it. It already supports DirectX 12. Right now. It has thousands of cores in it. And with DirectX 11, I can talk to exactly 1 of them at a time."

In OpenGL ES there is no default precision in the fragment shader. Applications must explicitly specify the minimum precision as highp (FP32), mediump (FP16), or lowp (10 bit integer). If the application uses mediump or lowp the GPU is free

Very cool. I tried this with notepad.exe on Windows 8.1 64-bit and this command: frida-trace -i "CreateFile*" notepad.exe produces this exception after saving a file from Notepad: ValueError: invalid literal for int() with base 16

The Android issue is entirely caused by shitty drivers. Pretty much all mobile hardware after the original iPhone fully supports OpenGL ES 2.0 shaders which haven't changed since inception.

Would be nice to be able to selectively disable some PEP 8 rules in the style checker. I don't care about lines longer than 80 characters and I don't like separating functions by two empty lines.
