Blind auditions only get rid of one aspect of discrimination. However, when the pipeline is starved because of too few role models in their communities due to historical prejudice, blind auditions become self-defeating and self-reinforcing.

As far as I'm aware, it would glide as well as any other 737 if both engines were cut. It merely had a slightly lower maximum nose-up because of the increased engine thrust or something like that.

This is kind of hilarious. who was cnn+ even supposed to be for? I personally like CNN, and would probably pay <$x/month or something to get it unbundled. But no way would I ever pay for "cnn+" that doesn't even have

I strongly dislike the CCP, but sometimes terrible governments can pass good laws. I wish our government was a bit more pro-active in this area.

It's easier to just think of it like someone's name. Even if someone's name is hard to pronounce, we generally make an effort *if* we want to socialize with them. I won't disagree there's power plays going on. Lots

It’s just an example of the product not being stagnant. There’s a lot of things that go into current Twitter and it’d probably take no less than a couple hundred engineers just to keep the site up assuming no R&D whatsoever. That adds a

To be accurate, I think Carlsen beats him pretty consistently, I think Carlsen would have a higher blitz rating if he tried for it. But Hikaru is a lot more entertaining. Hikaru has a great vibe.
