I lived in Phoenix during the early-mid 2000's. I certainly didn't need a simulation to tell that housing was an out-of-control financial scheme that was about to crack and bring the economy to its knees. You simply can't kee

I personally believe in not giving a crap. This puts things into perspective and I can focus. I get a lot done this way. Here is the bottom line... you are going to die. You are going to die, and no one will remember or care after a short t

If I had less than 10 years to live and 20 million dollars I would do exactly what I do right now. I'd just be doing it in a nicer place (and probably be wearing more expensive pants).

It isn't a zero sum game. People looking to make a quick buck don't stop misfits from playing with computers. As if one must be a social misfit or physically misshapen to be involved with computers in the first place, which is its

IMHOP I'd eliminate the 6-900 milligrams of caffeine and get a little exercise before I want to the doctor to find out what's wrong. It's kind of like driving your car with a flat tire and then calling a mechanic to find out

I don't think we are at a privacy crossroad. I think the fork was taken some time ago and now it's just a matter of how fast and reckless we go, and just who is going to be doing the driving.

It's more than a leap because it implicitly states that the only way a citizen of India can avoid poverty is to come to the US, and I'm pretty sure there are no shortage of wealthy Indians who became so without immigrating.

You really don't know that Detroit and San Francisco are in the same country and Mumbai and New York are not? Because that is the difference. If you arguing that national borders are immoral... well, I might agree in theory. But many m

I believe having a large technically competent domestic work force is of strategic importance to any modern country. If jobs are outsourced to temporary residents, (especially as wage deflation and reverse discrimination starts occurring),
