There’s a phenomenon, the name of which escapes me, which describes this situation. Essentially, whenever people see the media report an issue that they have a deep knowledge of, they see that the media get it wrong/lie/have no id

Yes, I have read it. A pdf copy of it runs to 156 pages. Not particularly straightforward. Can you sum what the legislation does up in a couple of paragraphs?

Good riddance. GDPR is an insane, Byzantine mess of legalese, which maps poorly onto reality.

What’s your stance on “bake the cake”? Do you think the bakers should have been forced to bake the gay couple a cake?

If the poster works at a big tech company, there’s a reasonable chance they could get fired for bringing up a point like that. That’s the world we live in now.

My understanding is that IQ is distributed such that men are slightly lower on average than women, but more spread out. If this is true, then it would follow that there would be more genius men than women, which would explain what you menti

The worrying thing, to me, is that it’s the young who are pushing this. Previously it was old conservatives, who were on the way out anyway. It’s different now.

The issue is that solar/wind can only provide so much of your country’s energy supply, due to storage issues. So you’re then left with a choice. Go with nuclear, or use fossil fuels, to make up the remainder of your energy consumption.

Lol, if you got your way you would immediately crash the economy. See for example any country that has ever tried anything close to this - Zimbabwe, Venezuela or post-war Hungary, to name just a few examples. When that happens, perhaps you’
