I do occasionally (meaning one hand holding, one hand doing the pinching and zooming. Not one finger from each hand doing the pinch-to-zoom). It's easier to do, and more accurate in my experience. I do pinch-to-zoom with one hand somet

It's interesting how people are willing to shell out so much on in-app purchases for games in particular. Not judging at all, of course. I play D&D, League of Legends, and Magic the Gathering, all three of which have (to varying ex

Yeah they have 4.97M in large bold letters and then 4.97 billion shortly after. Also in the last paragraph they do it again with the $19x and $20x figures.

It's cool that someone did it, but why should $500,000 and 5 months of jail time be involved when he didn't commit a crime? If we jailed people for jokes made with poor taste, half or more of our comedians would be locked up.

League of Legends was made with complexity/difficulty != fun in mind. It's easier to master mechanically, but I feel it is all around a much better made game. For one, it actually runs smoothly. This could just be my PC, but super

While this is true far too often in DOTA, LoL, and HoN, I think it's worth mentioning that there are nice players out there. I play League of Legends, and while there's a decent chance that you'll run into a few toxic playe

Had no idea justin.tv went through Y Combinator (then again, I'm pretty new 'round these parts) As someone who likes following pro Starcraft and League of Legends, I really appreciate what Twitch gives us access to. I've hear

I see Emma Frost twice (top-left turn to diamond, and just below the center at reading & influencing thoughts)... are there more than one? (I don't know a lot about comics) Also, can't seem to find my boy Emplate. edit: didnt

The nav tree doesn't seem to remember which items I had expanded if I collapse the parent and then open it back up. Is this intentional? Very cool resource, though. Thanks!

Is its function the exact same as pressing the Windows key (bringing up all the app tiles/metro UI thing)? I already do that whenever I want to start something. I tend to navigate using only my keyboard when possible, so when I open st

Huh... well that clears up a lot. I've tried both and was curious as to why the "Plus" version of an extension allowed tons of ads when the regular "AdBlock" did a perfect job of never showing me ads. I guess that

He probably just wants to read about development without 70% of the front page being about NSA stuff. I'm pretty new here, but as far as I know this isn't National Security News, it's Hacker News. Not wanting to see it on HN

I would imagine the ease of sharing, searching, following, comments/discussion, pull requests, etc. I don't have any experience with Bitbucket yet other than making an account and poking around with the interface, so I don't really have a f

Okay. That's what I sorta assumed, but I wasn't really sure. I was just wondering how their "modern CLI" handled tasks other than searching for and launching stuff (which it probably doesn't). I don't think the "modern command line" descrip

In your first method, you call getSponge() and getTowel() d times each, but in your second method you only call each once. That would be significant for large values of d, if I'm not mistaken. edit: using "d" to refer to the number of dishe
