Unrelated to the above discussion but, not justfies it, it's still wrong. But a poor hungry person is a lot more likely to commit a crime of opportunity that feeds them and their family than a well of, well fed person. Maybe you are ac

There we stand in agreement. Current copyright law and how it is governed is horrible. What most people propose is equally bad and will never get traction with lawmakers. Returning to what came before makes a ton of sense. Just make it X nu

You are missing a bunch of edge cases, and the law is all about edge cases. An artist who works professionally has family members, family members who are dependent on them. If they pass young, become popular just before they pass and their

From what I played around with Rust futures are not entirely coroutines but a mixture between coroutines and sender / receiver model. I'm pretty sure C++ will end up somewhere similar in the end or at least most libraries will mod

Oh I completely agree Tokio is a complex piece of software, but my point was you need to implement a decent amount of that even for trivial cases where Tokio isn't needed and therefore the default response is to just pull in Tokio. Par

Don't take it as an attack on game engines in Rust. It really isn't, it's more an observation that people happily work around the fundamental language design and that should be an indicator to the language authors. And they a

Unrelated note, the inline images (at least in the infrastructure post) makes reading quite hard on mobile since in some parts it's literally a single word per line. No need to fix it if you don't want to but may be useful.
