I'm going to disagee with you there. You are seeing the world through a different lens driven by constant churn in the tech industry. In many industries if you are just a drone that does their job reasonably well, will work overtime ev

I think popular is very situational though. For me I see a lot more dynamic than condensers but I guess if you are talking about what is in like every single IOT thingamabob then you might be right there.

That is not necessary true. There are at least 4 different types of microphones. Condenser which does in fact form part of a capacitor, dynamic which is effectively a linear generator (coil attached to membrane), ribbon which is a change in

Of the big metal things that can "set sail" and "drop anchor" there happens to be a very large set of classifications... But using your heuristics, that catamarang crew should probably have been interviewed.

Don't correlate hackernews and YCombinator. I am perfectly aware of the owner here but there is usually at least one or two posts a day here that has what I call a "hacker culture".

We have different definitions of hacker. I played around with LLMs... Found they aren't very useful. Slapping a project together to ship isn't what hacking is about. Hacking is about deeply understanding what is actually happening

I do believe the comment thread made the point I would have used here... Use gsl::span or write your own bounded span. std::span is not bounds checked...
