Comparing brute force to backpropogation with stochastic gradient descent shows you don't understand the process, or are being purposefully obtuse.

Why? How is it AI's fault that it can solve problems humans have proven unable to solve? And then you think it's AI's fault when we can't explain how it's solving the problems we can't solve? There's a rea

I mean no responsible developer would take the output of a ML model and then act on that without any tests on whether the output makes sense or not. That's the way to handle unexplainable AI. There's also opportunity to look at un

It's quite easy to explain. You take a bunch of tensors and multiply them by a bunch of tensors. Humans can't wrap their heads around multiple tensors being multiplied together and never will. It's not a problem with AI. It&#

Its the engineering that hasn't caught up with that theory. If I shake an electron here, theres a radiowave that travels in all directions at the speed of light. The problem is isolating those signals when they are extremely weak compa

Sure you can. They are expecting the tightening to be short lived. As they said, the companies can survive a few years but if rates stay high longer than that and don't come down it'll be bad.

Uh yeah there’s nothing overtly political in the show. People that are getting political vibes from the show all seem to be pointing to being annoyed about color blind casting. That’s not political, unless you’re the kind that thinks having

Taken as fan fiction I enjoyed most of the show. All the people surviving the Mt Doom explosion was the dumbest part to me.

People are really missing the forest for the trees here, what I’m getting from all the whining here is that I’ve decided code licensing is stupid and shouldn’t be a thing.

The real question is how is this a legitimate business? Literally just providing GIS data that is publically available for a fee? BRB quitting my job to make money doing nothing and separating idiots from their money.

This happens in larger fields too. For example in AI, which is a large research field, you can be blind-reviewing a paper, but it uses a proprietary google dataset, so you know where it comes from. Blind review is not the answer, I fear.

This is interesting to me but I have a question on the definition of a fluid that is presented here. It says it is a medium that cannot resist any stress applied to it —- is that not what surface tension does? Anyone smarter than me got an
