Until you try to open your door once and it goes "intruder alert"... Wasn't that a Doctor Who episode? :D

Man, I hope the TDP is adjustable, as well as the voltage, like many Intel chips. Would be great to see what these chips can do.

MTZ, too. I drive past a John Deere dealership/showroom, and a New Holland one and wonder who is even buying those in Eastern Europe. Doesn't seem like a good investment.

I think parts availability might be a problem with those, as well as a general lack of knowledge about them. Otherwise, yeah MTZs are simple and easy to fix.

It can finally replace Gigabit Ethernet... if your devices also support the higher speed. And I mean replace GbE for normal usage (NAS in one room, TV in another, etc), not 3 feet from an overpriced arachnid looking thing on your desk :)

I don't even know why they do it... I was looking at dishwasher liquid the other day, wondering why it needs all that advertising on it. "New formula!" "Plus Ultra Action!" "Now 20% more effective!" "

By sensing, I mean just that, reading input. You mean reasoning / decision , I guess. That would come from learned data, experience, imo. A child who's never touched a red hot electric stove, for example, would not have any bias

Physical sensation seems simple tbf. Any robot can sense temperature or color gradient. It's the decision making that's complicated. To make a decision on whether it would like chocolate ice cream or not ( before trying it ) a bra

I only have an Oculus Go, which I decided to get as a test drive. It's... fun, but the graphics quality is lacking. Some people say they stop noticing the screen door effect, but I never do. Plus I do notice the limited FOV. Watching m

I guess I'll share in this thread. ---1--- I have a OnePlus 6T with the stock ROM exclusively for my British phone number. On the 25th of December, someone from Canada logged into the GMail account used on that phone, from a OnePlus 3T

Oh the UK media definitely does. Example: Removing the working time limit? Let's ignore that it's going to lead to more overtime even for those who don't want it, it will increase household revenue! Good news everyone! https

I've seen too many people happy about overtime... I dunno, I worked 12 hour days for weeks and it was hell. Doing something on the side, anything that makes some extra cash, seems better than straight up overtime.

Right, "17 hours a day, 7 days a week" in the "hardest tech possible" fits the bill then.

Bismuth is used as a replacement for lead, if you want lower temperature solder. 58Bi/42Sn alloy is cheap and about as good as Pb/Sn, but is more susceptible to thermal fatigue. I used 57Bi/42Sn/1Ag to solder heatpipes.

I think that's just half of it. Founders and CEOs get a lot of shit, but they're paid well for a good reason: they manage to sell and profit. Take a successful factory, remove the officers and management, leave it to the assembly
