For the Gulf of Mexico they changed it to "Gulf of Mexico (Gulf of America)" for Canadian traffic, I can't imagine they take the same approach for this.

"He's just trolling" What a cool and appropriate thing to be at 80 years old, as a sitting President.

First I'm hearing of it, and it does dampen my enthusiasm for v12 a bit.

Stronger punishments? Probably not, but better enforcement? I believe so. It has repeatedly been shown that the severity of punishment does not sway crime nearly as much as the certainty of punishment does [1]. This all feels like a byprodu

This reads as another weirdly personal attack against Jarred for slighting a technology stack the author prefers, citing the even weirder personal attack against Jarred written by Andrew Kelley as the sole source to justify their "bigg

I feel like the "GitHub is a mess" conversation is a little forced at times - I spend a significant portion of my work day in GitHub and while there have been an uptick in outages lately, it still feels like a very solid platform.

I find the fall of Reddit to be particularly upsetting. In its prime it was one of the best social networks I'd ever used and I found incredible value in it - but after having my app blown up by their API changes and the continued (uns

This would also mean a lot of currently "free" services becoming paid in some other fashion, which I think people would be equally up-in-arms about. I'm no fan of ads and I am willing to pay for services I use to avoid seeing

This feels like a slight misstep that could result in consumer harm. The name is incredibly vague, without doubt, but to claim "OpenAI" doesn't evoke a very specific company at this point in the minds of consumers seems myopi
