I doubt they got very far. Most of the pages cut off very early since humans never went more than a page or two in. Maybe the new version wasn’t as good but when I left it wasn’t easy. Any at scale scraping was easy to detect since the site

I did the Model Mania 2001 part 1 challenge in a little under 18 minutes. The part 2 challenge involved only changing the 45 deg to 55 and the height of the center of the bore, so less than a minute. I know Fusion 360 but it's amazing

I doubt it. Delicious was way, way bigger than anyone realized, and there were a ton of throttling protections in there…

There is definitely precedent. In ‘62 Ferrari threatened to pull all their cars from Le Mans over some ruling they disagreed with. Lotus went home and didn’t go back to LM for many, many years. (Reading the Wikipedia article, looks like the

I have a historic car that ended up banned at Le Mans over rules and caused Lotus to stop competing while at the same Ferrari did not get banned from the same race despite also falling afoul of some different rules. at least according to le

Probably don’t paint the entire sport with one brush. Lots of racing is very exciting, especially to the people who are doing it (the vast majority of racing is amateur/club/etc.) Bergmeister vs Magnussen wasn’t that long ago…

I remember using some MS-DOS program for circuit simulation that used a clone of OpenWindows as the GUI/window manager. Pretty strange.

there's a massive difference between tagging-for-self-recall and tagging-for-other-recall. when i invented tagging the first was paramount, but the latter has become dominant and has very different design considerations one interesting

i know this sounds strange but the things we grew up with influence our tastes and preferences. i miss things lost (kaiser rolls, bagels) more than the things gained (sourdough, dutch crunch.)

Sourdough is interesting because it is a yeast plus a lactobacillus to make the lactic acid. Lots of things are cured with lacto fermentation including hot sauce and half sour (not vinegar cured) pickles. I love making my own fermented hot
