Do you know if thia edition comes with the monthy Xbox Game Pass (which is considerably cheaper if you don't mind "renting" the game)

Wow, that really was awful. Does this sort of thing require kind of like a specific optimisation to fix, or is there a general technique that would fix this and other stuff?

This worked for me on Windows + Chrome :) https://i.imgur.com/bJHlPb9.png EDIT: though not on native HN, I think it might be a result of having HNES installed.

Melbourne, not to be outdone by our rivals, have the Montague St bridge which is frequently doing in trucks. Even has its own Twitter account, because of course it does: https://twitter.com/MontagueStBridg/status/1

Looking at object getter/setters in any OOP is likely to be pretty uninspiring :) There's no logic there, this is basically just boilerplate for some other code to set properties on an object. Something that actually has some busi

I asked the .NET Core team this yesterday during one of the Build talks, appearently data records can be defined as either class or struct and take on the same heap/stack allocation semantics as a regular class or struct. My understand

I'm with you, I hate having huge numbers of tabs open, in both IDE and browser land. Some of the devs on my team end up with 30-40 files open in Visual Studio at a time and it just loses me.

Plus that "embed in png" feature (assuming it is ever stable enough for release) looks genuinely useful for source controlling editable images that would appear automatically in something like README.md.

I imagine by speaking out loud you also get a type of "rubber duck debugging" that makes it easier to work through problems too. Nice idea!

I really miss reading Terry's comments here. He was the single reason I turned on showdead - they weren't always insightful and were often offensive, but they were always an interesting view into his mind.

As per Mick West’s vid, these were declassified in 2017 so it’s very possible you saw them earlier.

Fork is definitely my fave on Windows too. I’ve heard people say good things about GitKraken but the UI really didn’t click with me for some reason. Sourcetree (on Windows at least) is slow and a real memory hog.

Not the OP, but I mentioned this after your last relaunch post - IIRC your initial post had one podcast feed and your relaunch had a new feed. I think ideally you should have kept the same feed, or published a short clip episode telling peo

If you’re in the .NET world, NCrunch is basically Wallaby. Saves me a huge amount of time and helps me write better tests by identifying where I’ve missed branches or setup test data incorrectly through the line indicators.

I prefer Wizfile [0] personally. It seems better as far as resource consumption than Everything. Wiztree by the same devs is great too as a replacement for WinDirStat. [0] https://antibody-software.com/web/software/

Rune Factory is the usual comparison. Rune Factory 4 just re-released on Switch and I played a decent chunk to tide over my AC longing before it launched, and I quite liked it. Much more story focused, combat, and not real time.

I’m tall too (190) and found standing very uncomfortable too. I had a standing mat and monitor arms too, and I think it made my mid back pain worse than it was before. I think a lot of ergonomic recommendations are very personal.

Yeah I'm with you. Not only that but if there's any sort of self-isolation, people aren't going to be going to the shops to queue for a new console even if there are no disruptions to the supply chain.

It's not always US specific, Oliver has had pieces on other world leaders such as BoJo and Brexit, and Bolsonaro to name a couple. A lot of the feature pieces are US-centric but a fair bit of US politics still applies on the world stag
