I can see that happen. Which will suck if you use your phones for camping trips or vacation where you need to charge on the fly. Maybe in a few years wireless charging will be efficient enough that you don't have to bring a larger powe

Unless Apple decides to ditch the port entirely in the near future, your argument doesn't make sense. Sure, there will be some minor pain during the transition, but the world did not end when Apple transitioned from the 30-pin to Light

Should people be compensated for the time they brush their teeth or have breakfast? Of course not. Once you step into your work, you should be paid for your time. Especially when you have no control over that.
