That's correct. Version 1 of the iPhone also didn't have MMS and was EDGE only.

Do you really think opera mobile was comparable to mobile safari? Yes, I remember getjar.com but that's not comparable to the app store. Pretending they're analogous is facetious at best.

It’s easy to forget how crazy the world was before the iPhone. Let me list the ways in which Apple blew the doors off of the industry with the iPhone: 1) battery: the iPhone was basically a giant battery strapped to a logic board. No one ha

If the new Apple processor is actually 7nm fab, that means that Apple is performing at a higher level of execution than basically everyone else in silicon land. Intel just failed spectacularly at shipping 10nm and TSMC is just beginning to

This looks like a really cool premise. Decentralized signatures for certs seems like a no-brainer solution to cert/DNS hijacking (maybe I'm missing something?).

FWIW, I would totally live in Berkeley if my commute to the dogpatch could be shortened. Right now, there's no obvious mass transit way to get to my office in SF in less than 80 minutes (assuming every connection is hit perfectly). Wit

Dawn is serious. I am super intrigued as to what she might be running to achieve her stated goals (I'd be super curious if she's got a new ZK algo up her sleeve :D).

Just curious, it’s also fraud to understate your income, right? So if you made $95k, but put $94k, that would also be a felony, right?

Dropbox deduplicates files across user accounts to minimize storage. Effectively, this means all accounts share one private key for encryption... Edit: to be clear, I believe it is an option on enterprise accounts to use your own key.

Ok so what if, by policy, the company uses an ephemeral messaging app with a 30 day log rotation? Can a court hold them in contempt for using that product or is it fine because it's a policy to have log rotation?
