But yet that same contributor expects readers to pay him for a few paragraphs of weak guesswork?

This article makes me uncomfortable, it's pretty light on information and then reveals the author is a contributor and expects donations - shouldn't such a contributor have more information or at least more to say than "Canon

There's extra weight to comments and how fast the upvotes are. If all votes are instant it'll go higher than votes over a longer period.

I got 8.5k in the first day of a post here, which was less popular than this post (I saw something like 150 sessions/minute when I peaked at #6)

It's probably a mix, they have only a few phones so they're easy to understand ("I have the bigger iPhone from last year" or "I have the HTC One M9" - the former is easier to remember and understand for non sav

I was under the impression that ccTLDs are administered/ran by the country they belong to (eg, I thought .us was administered by the US government). It sounds like I'm wrong though, my bad.

I think (but don't hold me to it), that country-ran (eg, .co.uk, .us) or major TLDs are safe (eg, .net, org)

Deciding to completely censor (edit: in practice, since few users are likely to dare/bother to skip warnings) legitimate (although unethical) websites seems sketchy. What happens when the uBlock maintainers decide that Facebook/Go

At my school we were marked down if we put more than X words on a slide (The rule was if you can't read the entire slide on a projector across the room, you have too much text), everything else should be in the slide notes.
