I completely agree. Finding just one theme on there was really disappointing. At least make a dozen or so yourself and post them up there if you can't find anyone else that wants to be one of the first posters.

Perhaps it's a function of its stealth capabilities, but that sure looks really similar to an F-22 ( http://tinyurl.com/bambe72 ).

Awesome. Tangentially, I use Nagios to verify that outside access to all my hosts (including HTTP) is restricted to my IP space.

I'm pretty sure as skyhook_mockups described it's just a normal folder. GDrive is going to offer a lot once more applications start offering their services services based on what you store in GDrive which is what I see as the differentiat

I have no idea if it would work, but what if a site was made where you could hire designers that you knew were quality so you wouldn't waste the time of people that weren't likely to get their design chosen?

I like the song because it's a catchy tune and that I understand a few words in English. If you can achieve success in anything besides music that catches on as well, it would be pretty amazing. Does anyone have anything else marketing-wi

I agree. It's by choice that people participate in this type of website, with the knowledge that they may not be paid. No one is forcing designers to partake.

I love this idea. I have a few side projects that I'm working on, and while I can't work on them full-time, I still try to dedicate a small portion of time daily to help them progress.

The only experience I've had with 99designs was through a friend but he had really good responses. Do you mind sharing what's so taboo about using it?

You're probably correct and I absolutely hate it.

That does lessen the absurdity of it a little, but isn't Word a Desktop application so he'd be in the Desktop where he would be prompted for updates?

I imagine that if it's anything like any version of Windows to come out since XP, or possibly even earlier, that updates are one of the first things that are presented to you post-install.

I'm not sure what you saw, but your Google Drive folder is just a subfolder under your user folder, similar to how Dropbox is, I believe, in your My Docs folder. You can also right click on the icon in the systray and browse to the Google

It's ridiculous that a journalist writing technical blogs didn't even check that his Surface was fully patched. That's the first thing you should do with any system. I don't own a Surface so I don't know whether Microsoft told users to up

I like the phrase "PC Plus." It's exactly my experience. I use my desktop and laptop for most things, but for consuming content when a small form factor works my tablet is great.

I totally agree. Everything in iOS Chrome works amazingly well and all of its features feel very natural to me. I primarily use Chrome across my other machines so it's nice to have all of the same information on my phone now.
