can you cross compile haskell to the Raspberry Pi. That is, compile on your desktop for the PI target? Seems like overkill to run the compiler on the embedded target all the time.

I'm not sure you have to update the copyright every year for any particular reason. Anyone know?

Ok. So, if I upgrade and someone does visit from an older IE browser what happens? :) I'll be back to testing browser differences. I guess those are pretty old browsers, so oh well.

Isn't one of the reasons for jquery to "abstract away" the differences between browsers so I don't have to worry about it? Dropping support for popular browsers doesn't seem to help me much.

I think times have changed. I haven't gotten a rejection letter in years, now. I remember sending out of 200 resumes during the recession at the end of the 80's. Back then you'd always get a letter back -- even if you didn't get an intervie

I don't understand. I put cygwin in my path, and I can run grep/less from a normal DOS terminal.

The nice tone of comments on this thread are why I enjoy HN. Compare to comments elsewhere (not the same article, but immigration related): http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/lanow/2012/04/historic-wave-...

Sounds like they are going directly into the StackOverflow database. If not, Google should reconsider. A lot of people got screwed when StackExchange dropped support for custom "stack exchanges" a few years ago.

True. But, I have other statistics to shed light on this: Plenty of people get domain ideas from my site, but then don't click on my BUY link. I can determine this because I see multiple domains get registered on the same day as I list them

I think my moral obligation ended when I stopped using Godday's services for my hundreds of domains. I boycotted Godaddy before SOPA, for their support of the Arizona immigration law. I put up banners on my site for that law and SOPA. Stopp

I send traffic to Godaddy too, even though I use NameCheap. The reason? If you're trying to make a commission for referrals, then Godaddy still whoops NameCheap. Far more domain buyers will use Godaddy, so more chance for commission.

I didn't like how the user types at the top, but is constantly going down to the bottom to press "Run" for the REPL. Maybe that's just watching the video, and with the ipad it's not so annoying?
