Completely agreed. I don't mind skimming through OSC's books now but they are just fun reads (plus I'm always looking for some of his more vile opinions to seep through, though that never really happens).

I am curious about this especially given their most recent 2012Q1 earnings which were solid and I am assuming from what I have read seemed to address the returns loss and other financial issues from previous quarters.

This seems like an unfortunate case of Microsoft looking to what will be the standard several years from now - a good thing for most web technology, given their slow browser development speed. However, due to the politics and industry regul

I think the pie charts aren't just broken for document based technologies, they are wrong for anything where a user can have more than one of the tools. For example on our site we are using multiple types of advertising (including our own),

Totally agreed. It seems he made some interesting choices about how to setup a startup for success before bringing on a technical co-founder, and as a technical co-founder I would be interested to hear 1) what he did and 2) what he thinks w

Does this actually perform faster by being on top of rails or would we need a new Ruby framework to get the most speed optimizations from the services and policies?

It seems to me that the significant allegation in this case is the fact that she asked to be moved and KP said no. I believe some of the other details are incriminating as well and in the end it doesn't matter that she had a relationship Na

I'm not sure why there is so much hate for this today as well. To me it seems like a fun simple project that actually manages to make something easier for some people, namely view instagram on their desktop. I'm curious if this partially co

I do live in Silicon Valley and they most definitely do exist. More importantly though is that the scene in Silicon Valley is dominated by a single type of person - male programmers. Part of this culture is bro-tastic. Part of it is geeky.

Would love to talk. I work for another YCS11 company and we have some APIs for turning widgets / apps into content sharing and advertising tools. Let me know if you want to talk more. Looking forward to seeing your demo.

Seems like Mark is pointing out a tension, but instead of complimenting Google on responding to real needs - cross border travel, the benefit of being able to use your phone while doing activites out of reception like hiking or boating - he

I'm not sure there's a way to get around the fundamental issue that even the best visual editors product shoddy code. If this were to work, I can think of scores of non-technical entrepreneurs and back-end developers who would be interested
