Yeah same, to me it seemed like poking fun at bad OOP practices more than anything, and the last paragraph is just casting garbage collection in a funny way.

Funny I should see this today, I spent yesterday afternoon reading articles about Thunderbird and other mail clients and ended up migrating from Thunderbird to mu4e [0] (purely for reasons of usability). If this is true (and there is some r

Oh god that article, I was waiting for someone to post it. I don't mean to insult your opinion but I just find it cliche because it is always posted in any discussion about syntax highlighting and it has some serious issues with fals

What's even scarier is imagine it happening to you now: out in 2050. Wouldn't be surprised if self-driving cars were the norm by then. Probably some crazy new world conflicts to deal with. No more Facebook or Google, a radical new

This is the first I've heard about Tab Groups being removed and that makes me sad. However the comments in the bug tracker [0] make it sound like it isn't about the money. They also have a migration plan for existing users to back

If people downvoting me could explain why, that would be nice. I'm not trying to downplay the OP's creation and I think it's really cool. I was trying to reply to the people in this thread because I feel like they are praisin

This is very cool. I have to wonder though what you could do with it, like I don't mean to devalue the OP but I see a lot of people here discussing the possibilities (inventory management etc.), but what is there to stop you from doing
