Not terribly germane to this this OP but there are people who "close" their online stores at times. One example is B&H Photo - http://www.bhphotovideo.com/ On the footer of their pages it says: "Please

Do you have any recommendations on which CA is good for EV certs (that work in Chrome)?

Chrome says they don't supply Certificate Transparency information. Is this something they should be doing?

I've been wondering how much "pay-at-the-pump" card machines affect sales of incidentals. If a fraction of customers are going inside and being exposed to the snacks, how's that work out?

Sadly, I don't think even that would get us to change our ways to prevent it this time around.

It's such a poor translation, it's unfortunate so many people still hold it as the one . My feeling is that being exposed to the KJV turns away a lot of people who might otherwise be interested in reading the Bible. There are so

Is it any more or less than other things we discuss here? Meh. It is of historical interest though. (And in the grand scheme of things, this story isn't that popular, plus Sunday is a slow news day.)

Some time back I was working at a company that made very popular cutting edge graphics software. Some of the key developers had beige-box machines labeled "Property of Intel" and "Confidential". Inside were Intel motherb

So, what is it doing that f.lux isn't/can't on non-jailbroken phones? I know they'd need access to APIs that Apple doesn't make available.

I did this at my last office. It's a bonus to have to take a break every 75-90 minutes to go outside and move your car - especially when you're not a smoker.

My city doesn't allow billboards in town. Billboards on the highways are also banned in my half of the county. I really appreciate it. Less visually assaulting and you can appreciate the natural and built beauty better.

Unfortunately, the more automation, fewer and more skilled workers are needed. That's always been the case and will only continue to happen. People will be able to specialize and diversify more.

The Carrera GT is a notoriously hard-to-handle car. It's twitchy and has very few electronic "nannies". Any car can kill you if you drive it outside its safe envelope.
