I definitely see a lot of truth in what you say. I enjoy him on TWiS but he barely mentions Mahalo in passing on the shows except for some metric like 10M uniques. Mahalo has been going backwards in my opinion. About a year ago it seemed l

It's annoying but you should at least have an offsite backup in case of fire, seizure, or other type of loss/theft if you depend on your data. This is making think of pulling the trigger on using truecrypt or the like to encrypt my on-disk

I think they use Amazon S3, so their cost is 5 cents/GB of storage + bandwidth costs. I would assume more referrals = more conversions and any conversion should be very profitable.

I wish Google would add more anti-DMCA takedown options like "they're lying". Showtime claimed copyright violation over a clip I posted from CBS. My only option is to give Showtime my personal information to point out their stupidity. I'm

I've wanted this forever. I made http://geoipweather.com/ for my own use but GeoIP's (free) database is pretty bad, and damn near useless when using AT&T proxy servers via 3G.

It definitely sounds like they're trying to kill MonoTouch (C# iPhone development) and other development environments like it. I really don't see the point of this. It just means less applications and less revenue for Apple.
