I'm sensing that Roman's Flask project was born out of frustration with people not getting his Werkzeug and Jinja2 projects - probably because of bad marketing. On 1 April he created a silly little microframework and did all the right marke

All in all - really happy someone is going after this market. Restauranteurs have no idea where to look for a website. They just ask for the coolest possible website without wanting to pay too much so they end up with all the bells and whis

I've been using Notational Velocity which is an OSX only app. I like that it's UI is keyboard driven and that it encrypts and syncs your notes to the cloud.

It actually uses httplib1 under the hood which I've had weird problems with (even when using the httplib2 abstraction). Restkit has a better interface and really cool filters for such things as proxies.

"practice" or "experience" are the terms missing from this discussion! An experienced person can iterate less and has a better design right off the bat.

It's hard when family members ask you to do work for them and you don't have time, they still offer to pay you. They expect that you'll somehow find the time because there's now a financial incentive at play. My mom is starting a company an

That's a good point about the Django honeymoon period before you hit all those little things like a proper multi environment settings.py schema. Once you're over those and start reading the Django code it becomes even more productive.

You should think about location. I'd like to search per country or even city. Are there any standards for geotagging in email? Doubt it.

I think it's cool. I am part of two cliques and I maintain forums for both but would love a more fully fleshed social environment. Go ahead! EDIT: Make sure you think about group leaders - administrators/maintainers/whatever.
