I think the insight here is that garbage is garbage and the generational hypothesis holds for DB trees as well. So if we track and treat young nodes specially, we can then promote a subset of them into the permanent tree and dispose of the

It seems that you could add mechanical rigidity and remove the freedom of rotation by adding washers into the mix: washers that have small extrusions to for into the slots next to the bolt. Parallel, perpendicular, or at dome fixed angle. B

I never could wrap my head around the context variables or whatever they were called, where the language would pick a random variable from your local environment and pass that as an argument to the function call.

Not the full column. You pump out the top x feet of water from the pipe. The equalizing levels of inside and outside the pipe is what drives the upward flow through the membrane.
