We have finally released TeamPostgreSQL, web-based administration and team platform for PostgreSQL. I ran a small beta here on HN a few weeks ago. The application uses a sophisticated AJAX web client and as such is a good showcase for what

I think the fact that this thread has 70+ comments, yet has not turned into a political flamefest, but rather an intelligent discussion on whether it belongs, is an almost unbelievably strong testament to the quality of the HN community. I

I am getting great commentary back - I cleverly included the option to send feedback directly from the application, and then foolishly forgot to include a field for the user's email address, so I can't respond directly :) I will try to pick

Hope to hear your feedback. As I just now posted in another response we haven't settled on any price, except that it should not be some super exclusive thing for corporate whales :). Fixed the link.

Sorry for the confusion, this is definitely one of the points we should make clear. You are right, it is a web application and the download is the web server with the webapp on it. The common use case is that you would put the server on the

It comes bundled with a sample database, so you can still try it out even without a PostgreSQL database available. Also, thanks for the suggestions. I will definitely expand the website with more information - this is just an early release

Crazy to think that in 1986 Bill Gates and Steve Jobs were already considered to have triumphed. In hindsight, they had only just taken their first few baby steps in business!

Be careful when reusing water bottles. A recent study found that re-using a disposable plastic water bottle a few times raises bacteria and fungus contamination beyond the threshold for acceptable drinking water.
