" gives you 3x more cleaning to do." This so much. I don't have a McMansion but I have a house that was added on to and has a total of 4bed 3 bath. The living room, 1 bathroom and 3 bedrooms would be like one "great room

I guess I tend to think about living longer as having more of those later years. That seems kind of pointless. My life really peaked at 23 and has been downhill since. So if I could live the time from like 18-23 longer then that would be ki

Thanks for caring. I have a close family, wife, and a 5 month old. I went to a therapist for about 1.5 years but it didn't seem to help much. I go to a psych now. I've been seriously trying to figure it out for about 8 years now b

I guess I don't understand the desire to live forever. Do people really want suffer through daily life for eternity? Disclaimer: I barely make it through a week without thinking about not wanting to live though.

In the US they are forgiven. Family is not responsible for paying this. If you wanted to keep a house or something you could choose to have that debt transferred to you but if not it's the bank's problem.

Having been through a handful of managers in the past few years I know that your direct manager can make a huge difference. My work itself doesn't change but my stress load is way less under my current manager. Just knowing that she ha

I've been to a psych and he has never actually suggested that my issues are caused by my work place but he has suggested I take short-term leave on several occasions. I have refused to do it thus far but that seem obvious that he think

>Most people, if they're pretty satisfied at their current job, won't seek out other opportunities Is that true? I don't know of any studies but I give a new company like a year before I start looking for something better.

I'm more curious to see how this plays out with technology than I am over the economic and privacy arguments. Facebook obviously has the resources to find new ways around these ad blockers. Can these small ad blocker developers keep up

I agree with you and I also buy the argument that users can choose what their browser decides to render. The best action is to stop using a service. Continuing to use a service with an adblocker shows that you get some type of value out of

I personally don't think it would go over well but I'd like to see a site with as much pull as Facebook try it. I've seen articles claiming facebook is making $10 per user per quarter [1]. That seems high to me but if true I

This just reaffirms that I don't want to work with any company in the 3's. My current company is a 3.3 but if you read their subreddit you would think they were going to murder your dog.

Being acquired is always seen as this awesome thing but it can be terrible for a lot of people. I didn't have enough equity to make enough to buy a used Honda Civic. I don't care for the culture of the new company but I'm sti

I've seen co-workers, who were way more skilled than me, be on the market for almost a year. One in particular was my mentor and it took him about 8 months. Another was my direct manager and it's been over a year.
