With AIO upgrade is a piece of cake. -- For us, Nextcloud is a godsend, some things could be improved, true, but they are improving; we are more than grateful for this comprehensive software. Much less hassle (and even less expensive) than

It's beautiful! -- Cool that Chris Wanstrath gives massive support to this project (financial and (most likely) time).

I use it (there are always trade-offs). It's by far the best and most convenient browser for me, I run it on all my devices. What are you using instead?

A note regarding your last point: - Google Play is sandboxed [1], you have (important) privacy advantages - with a second account for banking apps (or in your example) uber, lyft, one can nicely separate "google-play-apps" f

True. I don't know of any other "holistic" project that we could have choosen instead of Nextcloud. One very very important point is the AIO installation method. So easy and no fear to have forgotten something important. -- Y

What is an ultra-cheap tiny server? Maybe a CX21 (6.37 €/mth) at https://www.hetzner.com/de/cloud would fit. There are Docker images and you only need to install the NextCloud AIO. Super simple. Upgrade is also si

Nice to hear. After several (abandoned) attempts and installing NC from scratch it seems to me that Nextcloud matures well. I like the focus on hub/groupware. Still some details from time to time which annoy me (and probably could be i

Thanks. Oh, I misunderstood you ;-) and thought you were talking about Brave. I stopped using Firefox quite a while ago and settled on Brave. Some config is needed but it works (very) well for me.

I never switched to Chrome, always used Firefox. But it increasingly got more config-involving to make FF do what I wanted and maybe I overdid some settings/plugins and websites started to show incorrectly. Also the imho (much) too hig
