Amazon has no mercy, so neither do I. In my defense, they started it. (I had purchased a stainless steel muffler with a lifetime warranty off of Amazon Auto, the thing was counterfeit, completely rusted through in less than a year, and Amaz

It was NOT only one side that did October 7th. Look it up. Netanyahu has been funding Hamas indirectly for decades.

Their prices are extremely high compared to the competition on https://openrouter.ai/deepseek/deepseek-v4-flash-0731 fyi. tinfoil asks more than 10x the output cost ... $1.90 per 1M tokens instead of $0.18 per 1M token

Deepinfra is US based and has ZDR FYI. I am quite happy with them so far.

SOL 5.6 usage actually looks unchanged on the day https://openrouter.ai/provider/openai I'd be surprised if they closed out over 100B tokens today (they did 101B on sol 5.6 yesterday).

But who can take a benchmarking website seriously when they literally change their benchmarks to appease anthropic, like artificialanalysis.ai did the other day?

You don't just jump from model to model on openrouter because somebody slashed prices, though. People actually have to select and want to use Sol 5.6 in their routing.

Really? I have witnessed 5.6 Sol Ultra edit line after line of literally empty lines ... for hours. I wasn't literally watching it, I came back to a goal (that it started for itself without my approval!) that had done nothing but that

The really frightening part for OpenAI, should be that apparently nobody seems to care. [0] Their token usage on 5.6 Sol isn't even expected to double today. [0] https://openrouter.ai/openai

OpenAI is making some really boneheaded moves these days. They're reacting instead of leading, basically. Cutting API prices 50% while millions of your paying subscribers have had their limits slashed and are all literally looking at t

The point is to simply add a subagent that interprets your task and hands that off to the coder set to the appropriate level of thinking, essentially.

According to the paper "Stealing reasoning traces from proprietary llms" [0] all frontier models overthink. Thinking is good. You just don't see it in proprietary harnesses because it's literally cryptographically hidden

These resets are not nearly enough. I am in the process of creating my own Pi Coding Agent harness to leverage the power of Deepseek V4 Flash 0731 and other models (you can do that when you build your own harness! easily route opinions from

DeepSeek's API was never "cheap". They were stealing your code for that extremely cheap cached token price. That was never the real price. Every Chinese LLM API provider is the same to the best of my knowledge. "CHEAP AP

So add a pre-ingestion agent to your Pi Coding Agent subagent repertoire, problem solved.

The price on DeepInfra and most providers on OpenRouter has not changed... if anything, it's gotten cheaper. All of this DeepSeek price increase stuff is related to their specific API, not the entire market.

These LLM coding agents are overengineering everything these days. I get it. The majority of their users are vibe coding and have no idea what they are doing, so they have to orchestrate their harness to understand shit like "Build GTA

Now I can blast through my weekly 20x pro codex credit in like an hour, great! The amount of usage you receive on Codex these days is dismal compared to what it was a few months ago, FYI. And they charge more for going faster. As a Codex cu

No, it doesn't. My point was that chasing deals like this is just kicking the can down the road. You're going to have to reckon with harsh price increases sooner or later. So I have resolved to avoid that future-dreading and fixed
