I think it's NP hard, maybe from Sparsest Cut. But you could probably find the min-cut and then iterate by adding capacity on edges in the min cut until you find a cut of the right size. (if the desired cut-size is close to the min cut

The US spend years building the UN and the system of international law and it benefits a lot from it. The US is like 4% of the world population and 2% of the area, but dominates pretty much anything you care to measure. It is really not in

Sure, trucks make sense on farms and elsewhere with bad roads. The issue in the US is that people use them in the city.

by johanvts 10mo ago
Landscapers have trucks here too, but they look like this https://iveco.dk/shopping-varktojer/kampagner/MY24-IVECO-Dai... For personal use, like you mention, people use a small trailer. You own one or borrow it fr

by johanvts 10mo ago
Why do you need a truck? Serious question, in europe professionals have a van, like the Ford e-transit, and if you just need to haul some stuff from your summerhouse sometimes you hitch a trailer to your car. Why do you need a truck? Couldn

It has a new “watch files” mode where you can work interactively. You just code normally but can send commands to the llm via a special string. Its a great way if interacting with LLMs, if only they where much faster.

They do compete on content. How many billions did Spotify spend on Joe Rogan? And it happens with music too, some bands moved away from Spotify in rage recently and at least one person switched to Tidal to keep listening to KGLW https:&#x2

The Americans didn’t get cheap cars, they just got very large cars which is obviously detrimental to anyone but perhaps the driver.

It should be illegal, but I do think you might just be living close to some people who really love trucks. 5k is not a lot across Europe, popular models sell 10x that.

Misleading title, the council approves their mandate for negotiations with parliament. It’s still a long way to go before it turns into law and I think it’s rather unpopular in parliament.

by johanvts 11mo ago
The text was watered down, and hopefully it will not clear parliament in any meaningful way. As a dane I wonder if our social democrats are so gong-ho for law this to compensate for the fact that the former king maker in the party was recen

There is one reason, anticheat, that at least was why i had to abandon bazzite for now. Otherwise i loved how easy it was to set up like a console for my kids to use without my help.

by johanvts 11mo ago
Anticheat is a big issue that nobody seems to mention. I had to go back to windows for online games and it’s my understanding that there are deep technical reasons why anticheat on linux can’t be done the same way as on windows.

Its great for any git task. I think worktrees are often overlooked, magit makes it very fast to switch between worktrees. It’s great for debugging in two different commits in parallel and seeing exactly when some behavior differs.

The situation on windows is improved, not perfect but it is much better than it was.

It shows you conflicting files. I normally resolve each via ediff or my IDE and then go back to magit. It’s not a diff/merge tool.

by johanvts 1y ago
Im using magit on windows for years now. It used to be that larger operations would completely clog everything up. They can still be annoying, but it’s not the dealbreaker it used to be.
