Just got home, took a deeper look and had a few more thoughts. I think the greatest part about these products is the "viral" (for lack of a better word) ability. Someone with a new necklace will have all their friends asking about it... sho

Thanks! Yeah, we are working on launching. Site is less than a week old and is just an inside joke. I'll be sure to post here when we are alpha. (Of course with some invites for anyone from HN)

I like your ideas. The back of the napkin math is a little excessive sometimes: I can do the math that if your averaging the same amount per user and your users increase by 10x, then your revenue does as well. I don't need to see what 100x

Maybe an email account that should be unique... i.e. a school or employer? @google.com or @berkeley.edu. Although people might have multiple schools/employers or a mix of both. This also might not work for certain demographics (ones without

Oh I agree. When a company has such a long storied history like Lucent then there can be many butterfly effects. It's just lately (past 2 years), the financial picture for Alcatel-Lucent has gotten really bad. Another factor for such a huge

This article deceptively makes little mention of Bell's macro condition. Just to say it went from 30,000 employees to 1000 in a 7 year span is not the whole picture. Let me provide some perspective. If you look at ALU stock mid 2000, it had

I agree. If all the guy brought the table was a couple bucks for food, I wouldn't want to take lunch with him. The guy can't be an empty suit. Good stories and laughs are always welcome at my table.
