Does anyone miss or want type checking when working with Elixir? After working with Ruby to build large systems for so long, I'm missing a little bit of the safety that types provide. Typescript has been great.

Server is supposed to check authentication/authorization through some method. If HTTP, that’s done via setting some information in the request headers, be it a cookie, or basic auth, or token auth, or similar. CORS is done by the brows

Seems simpler to do this at the load balancer level. That way you can use the same strategy for any type of application.

If you can store events in a sql database and use transactions and use idempotent APIs, a lot of those issues go away.

A "churn" metric would show if a given piece of code is getting changed frequently. That can identify hot spots in the code.
