I'd love to get included in the beta. We're in the process of splitting up a monolith into separate applications. Docker for Mac/Windows would ease this transition immensely! Docker ID: joelcox

I kept a close eye on Eran's blog over the past years after he announced he would be working on an alternative. Happy (no pun intended..) to see its release.

Did you look into Librelist[0]? They also offer rsync access to your archives, so making backups is trivial. [0] http://librelist.com/

One of the guys who is working on this is Eran Hammer, who also co-authored several OAuth specs. He's working on OAuth alternative called Oz ( https://github.com/hueniverse/oz ).

This story is only about the short film made about the Mine Kafon. If you want more info on the deminer itself you should check out the designer's blog. His concept also include GPS tracking and an online platform, as suggested here on HN.

I love how Pagoda Box (a PaaS for PHP) solved this; you can "caffeinate" you application for $8 per month to keep if from sleeping, instead of adding another instance (comparable to Heroku's Dyno). http://help.pagodabox.com/customer/portal
