I was really surprised to find out that the support for the STR string templates that was added as a preview feature in Java 21 was completely removed in Java 23 and there is no replacement at all.

I was surprised that they didn't implement a "cancel" button too. Probably a strategy to discourage people from cancelling. I've managed to cancel using a chat though and it wasn't that bad.

Thanks a lot for Miranda, I'm using it since 2006 I think. I don't rely so heavily on it as I used to, probably because of popularity of facebook and mobile chat applications, but I still find it useful :-) I started using a fork
