If you go outside you need to know what is legal or not and that could change day to day though. Your city could have a curfew, require a form justifying your errands or whatnot. I normally don't read news at all but in this specific t

In Iceland the sample is not random. It's based on people volunteering, people with symptoms are going to be overrepresented.

Ears aren't connected to the respiratory system. Lacrimal ducts are, that's why eye protection is important. The virus doesn't enter your lungs through your skin pores either.

Also all the people that are at-risk but financially in a really bad place. Letting cured people go back to life as normal while the others stay in quarantine indefinitely will create some weird unintended consequences.

> 0.12% of the population of Italy died over the past two weeks from COVID-19 I think you mixed up numbers, this looks too large by one order of magnitude. Maybe you used the numer of cases instead of deaths or something.

However with everyone stuck at home all day long there is an increase in domestic accidents and unfortunately also an increase in domestic violence.

Country A has zero legitimacy doing this if they have the exact same weapons of mass destruction. Their only argument would be that they are more responsible. It reminds me of parents punishing their kid for smoking while they are smokers t

Each outbreak is regional, having the numbers normalised to the total country population doesn't really give interesting information. It is the medical system of that specific region that is at risk of saturation.

It's like this on the host side. At the end of the review process we are asked, "would you recommend this guest?". As a host we can then filter out of instant booking guests that had more than 3 red flags like this.

That's not at all the same as what was claimed in this thread that hosts can prevent a review from appearing in the first place and that hosts have to allow the review before it's published.

Well in this sense AirBnB has a much more powerful tool, the host also reviews the guest. So when we consider hosting you we don't look at the possibly bad reviews you left, we look at the reviews other hosts left on you.

I think the 2% death rate is only when your healthcare system isn't completely overwhelmed and you have enough mechanical ventilators for the ~20% of cases that need them.
