The article suggests this isn’t true though. Reduced congestion is improving public transit. Making cars preferentially affordable for the poor isn’t ever going to work.

What is the idea outcome for guaranteed minimum income in rural communities with no meaningful activity? They can’t actually set up a working community if they’re not doing anything.

One year of 95% tax is arguably still not enough. If taxes on income were rated by wealth, we could consistently tax billionaires 95% tax and they would still be pocketing millions for safe investment returns

Those are the result of heavy regulation, not deregulation. Edit: and they’re still drastically biased. Eg farmers getting preferential rates for wasteful crops like almonds.

Are there any voice to voice models out there that can replicate inflection of line delivery?

That means _everyone_ pays the higher price. Water is fungible. You can tax them if you want. But you can’t expect market forces to do it.

They’ve worked, at great cost, against Ukraine. They wouldn’t work against a more powerful foe with air superiority.

Water is fungible. If they need to pipe in 1 gallon of water, who pays the extra cost? The entity that used the last gallon? The entity that used the most? Nah. It’s averaged out across all users. You also cannot scale up these alternative

You’re now arguing the assumption without a precedent you don’t have the right to do something. That’s not how the law works. If you believe that the courts would laugh at a publisher trying to bring suit against you for doing this, then yo

It absolutely is fair use to copy a book for your personal archives. The fair use criteria considers whether it is commercial in nature (in this case it is not) and the “ the effect of the use upon the potential market for or value of the c

I’m unclear what you mean by “before I’d fully specified my question” because they don’t have the ability to interrupt you. Write your full question. If you get a bad answer, rewrite the original question. Don’t talk to the bot. This has th

Ok sure but let’s zoom out a bit. Both sides have 10 guys. Let’s say one of them puts 10 in a stack. The other splits into 5/5 to tackle two nearby objectives. In death stack civ games the 10 stack can just instantly swallow the 5’s wi

That’s why Humankind’s approach is great. Stacks are fine for macro movement. And then actual battles take place with one unit per tile and tactics considerations.

That’s what I thought. But Humankind’s solution of moving stacks around that get spread out for combat solved this very elegantly imo.

A single giant blob of every unit you have moving as one is about as unrealistic as you can get with respect to war logistics and strategy.

The problem isn’t really the existence of death stacks so much as the fact that the map is too zoomed out for _any_ tactical nuance. This creates extremely unrealistic game-y mechanics when you have two opposing stacks of 50 guys and one gu
