So you’re just here to tell me, without knowing what I do or who I am, that I’m evil and that I’m “profiting from the denial of care to others”? Cool man, good talk.

Did you have something to say, or were you just looking to make some personal swipes and call me names? Your comments about the ACA (you know there’s no accent on the word Act, right?) are hyperbolic nonsense.

Interesting - my COBRA opt-ins have always been much higher, but it’s also probably down to location. And yes, totally agree - taking advantage of the 60 day gap can also be super helpful, especially if you’re not high risk.

That’s absolutely untrue (unless you’ve paid significantly into your deductible, in which case COBRA may be the right way to go). Most HRA plans from your employer are virtually indistinguishable from what you can get on the exchange. While

How is acknowledging that BMI may be a faulty measurement for some races “excusing unhealthy behaviors”? In the long run, I suppose I support a significantly less stringent definition of obesity, to enable broader access to GLP-1s, but not

The same risk factors? Or the same risk? What are you trying to assert? What is your basis for that assertion? Do you think a Caucasian and black person have the same risk of diabetes and hypertension, for instance? Or do you think that ass

Getting an individual ACA plan is typically easier the less you make. You’ll typically be able to get a bronze plan for whatever you were paying for your share.

Stop paying COBRA, unless you have paid significantly into your deductible. You can immediately get an ACA plan on termination for, comparatively, pennies.

Do you actually have a counter argument to the fact that a measurement based on one race or sex may not be applicable to all races/sexes? This is common knowledge in health care, so I’m quite interested in hearing your evidence-based

So I’m not using it for currency, then? If it’s value can range from $100 to $5, it is unusable as daily currency, and the only reason to hold it is because I’m hoping today is the day it’s $100, and if it’s not, I’m going to use my real

Seriously? Because if it goes to five when I need to use it for groceries, I’m in a bit of a pickle. That does not happen with the USD/Euro/whatever.

That’s a load of nonsense that smacks of “I’m really smart and enlightened and everyone else is dumb and incapable of rational thought.” The idea that all of these people are “just harmless trolls” is unsupportable nonsense. It’s wild how m
