From the uscis site for H1-B I'm not sure where 50+% more like 75+% meet this barrier. This is not zenophobic. We have seen Canada realizing they dug themselves into a hole acting as the slush fund for FAANG near BS. At what point doe

I didn't saw about quantity, just cyclists can be unpredictable - I bike several thousand miles a year. When I used to commute to San Francisco, my order of concern on the road was cyclists, muni, cabs, everyone else.

Think the mechanized scofflaws are bad, as a cyclist, maybe self propelled two wheelers are quite random in the laws they do/do not follow.

When I graduated college, the drive from Santa Cruz to 85 and Shoreline was about 35min at 730am. These days that is 90-120 minutes at that same time (think google/microsoft campuses). Many can’t afford to live close to those areas a

Living in a rural northern CA county, the roads are paved, however many are failing. The funny this is, one county over has much better maintained roads (by the state) because they are in a different district.

I wish you luck, having looked at doing something similar years back, I don’t see the market. In the case of what I was involved in, it pivoted to enterprise backup.

I’d say in the US there is a unique situation because health care is tied to employment, or it’s insanely expensive. When the job market is not great, you see increased costs and more exploitation of those employed.

Elections have consequences, I just hope the incoming administration isn't actually going to roll things back on vaccines, etc. Otherwise, we may end up with upticks of diseases previously mostly eradicated (at least here in the US).

Small retail business, paid $20-22/hr which was much more than many positions on the county govt job pay scale posting that they publish - for instance a sheriff's office jailer starts at like $17.
