Cancelling the policy of allowing non-Precheck into the precheck lanes will be, personally, beneficial in the short term. I wish there was actually a comparison of effectiveness of DHS agents vs private contractors like those at SFO.

Currently living up in the Sierras along the Feather River, it's no surprise the amount of water that went rushing down into the Oroville reservoir. Even at about 4500 feet, you had about 3-4 feet of snow that ended up being melted by

A classic comment from the CEO of a startup I worked at during an all hands after a new round of funding, someone asked about dilution. The CEO (with a straight face) said, "you weren't diluted, the share price increased."

Also missing from things is the fact that more rural parts of the west coast are much more conservative than areas close to the ocean. Look up continued interest in the State of Jefferson.

Sometimes with the accidental (and non-accidental) encounters between bikes and cars show that the value of the life of the biker isn't really valued that highly.

I've never had a problem with Java the language being heavy. However, many code bases due to annotations, dependency injection, etc. from a development perspective really aren't any longer Java. You need to understand the code b

I don't know if it has changed, but one thing I enjoyed about living in Finland in the early 2000s was that a janitor and a director at a company were given the same respect. If was more about contributing to the society. Your comment

For history sake, before everything from Almaden up to Page Mill was basically built out, Highway 85 between 17 opened up (realistically) around 1994. Within about a month of it opening, if you were driving from the south on 17, it was fas
