I’m unable to get the electric car tax credit for this year because my income is too high. However I’m likely to be laid off next year. Seems like I should get the benefit as my group status will change.

I would very much be considered someone who doesn’t “need” the funding, but when deciding between having a 3rd child or just sticking with 2, I wasn’t comfortable enough to afford 3 in daycare and helping 3 through college. However, I expec

Tesla has redundant front facing cameras on their cars. In my 2019 Model 3, there are three front facing cameras, each with varying angles of view, all three behind the rear view mirror, all encased in a small area lined with anti reflectiv

It feels like the US individual tax rates are on the left hand side of the larger curve especially for high earners. It’s especially to the left for estate taxes. If these were corrected to maximize revenue, I doubt we would have these gaps

At what scale does this become efficient? I may have 1000 sqft to dedicate to this type of system on my lot. Feels like that’s at least an order of magnitude too small to maintain the energy through the seasons. Could we build one of these

People have been able to get their Tesla Model 3 batteries (75kWh iirc) replaced with used battery packs for around $5k, so quite close to what you’re asking.

I suspect I’ve accepted some terms or conditions which obligates me to pay them these fees if they find I ever generated my own power. Again, this is only possible because they have monopoly power, which is not adequately checked by the reg

The fees should be the same regardless of solar tie in or not, as it’s a grid cost (physical cables etc) And then the power companies should charge a price per kWh for power they deliver. Instead they only charge solar customers, causing an
