Although these tax systems likely poll well, all tax systems are just transfer functions. Any tax system which results in significantly reduced taxes for the >1% raises my suspicions. If you couples this system with an inheritance tax

I always wanted to drive a Honda Element for Uber... one with hydraulics... pick up people from the bars, and “expedite” their vomiting. The element is designed to be hosed out, so 5 min of cleaning, and you’re back on the road.

We would have the product in inventory for about 5 days before it was sold. What’s the interest on $100M for 5 days? From that, we then made $25M.

I agree. My theory is that it was partially our MBAs and partially the stock analysts MBAs. In our industry, normal margins were 60 points, so when our company was generating 36 points, it looked wrong to the analysts, so it needed to be f

I’ve argued that Gross Margin Dollars is more important than Gross Margin percent. Most business school grads are focused on the percent because it’s good for the stock price, when it’s the gross margin dollars which pays the light bill. I

Would be interesting to see these charts based upon the actual degree. A CS degree will likely have a better ROI than basket weaving. Society shouldn’t be creating more basket weavers, and the first step is to have solid data.

My understanding is that I’m not allowed to discriminate based upon the country of origin of my employees. As long as they have the right to work, they must be considered equally. Should that be altered for Chinese citizens?

The existence of this survey is evidence that Linux on the desktop is flawed. There should be one answer. Instead, Linux desktop users are using Linux on the desktop because they can’t be satisfied by Windows or OSX. So then they try Lin

At $100/kWh, a 200kwh battery pack is just $20k. I expect the motor is approximately $5k. An F150 runs anywhere from $28k-$70k. Which means that the base F150 without gas engine is around $23k. Add in the electric, and you’re up to $
