Demand curve shifted. Basically the average person temporarily has more money due to government stimulus, so vendors increase prices, find that overall profit increased, and keep cranking the dial. It becomes a mad rush between the product

I’ve had just one person who regularly takes my advice, and is wildly successful from it. No idea why this person, my wife’s cousin, takes my advice and no one else does. Almost makes it more frustrating for when I give advice to others, wh

I’ve had job opening where I’ve had maybe 5 applicants. They were all subject to the same screening questions, all well documented and interviewed by multiple people. Usually within the first 2 questions you could tell if the person had eve

What if the hiring manager had a stack of 10 applicants, and of those 10 applicants, only 2 had a resume which appeared qualified. Let’s assume those 2 candidates were not “diverse”. But out of the remaining 8 non-qualified resumes, 1 was “

I regularly play in Vegas poker no limit hold’em tournaments, and am substantially positive. These are 12+ hour/day, multi day tournaments, and a bad player with luck just isn’t going to last the grind. 90% of the people in these tourn

A Corolla hybrid doesn’t get you in the carpool lane for commuting in Az traffic, and I already own the suburban. Sure, I could sell the suburban, and buy a Corolla, and in about 60k miles, come out ahead, but then I couldn’t haul a boat. I

I have both an EV (model 3), and an older suburban. As much as I like the concept of the model 3, there are still places where it’s impractical. My parents live in a mountain town about 1.5 miles away. The 4000ft elevation change makes it q

Will orbiting solar panels ever work? Now that starship is viable, payload cost to orbit will dramatically drop. Is it cheaper to have orbiting solar plants than solar/battery(or whatever long term energy storage)? It’s that baseload p

I don’t understand how the US doesn’t have India deeply in its sphere of influence. With both needing to counter China, and with the US multinationals fueling the Indian IT sector, the US should have plenty of leverage that they’re not taki
