Your comment is overly hostile. The author is present, you could give some constructive feedback instead of insulting the design. I actually disagree with you, the UI seems elegant and very usable on desktop. Maybe smallish window size on s

Very nice project. I'm delighted to see new ideas for organizing files and personal data. I feel that most people gave up on organizing data and just went with concept of searching. This is a shame because searching wastes everyone

For me it's not just communication. Maps give you super-powers. Camera comes in handy. Phones are decent remote controllers for other devices. Playing music (and occasional video) is also useful feature. All these features except incom

I find it baffling that Lisp is still written in text. It's pure AST, so it's easy visualize and manipulate it as a tree. Small trees (definitions of functions and data structures) are composed into big tree that forms application

Did you try to call updateGraph() after adding elements? It seems like it should do the trick. [] https://zzz.dog/api#anchor-updategraph

Very clean and fast. The API also looks good, I like hierarchical translation and scaling. Is there anything preventing animation?

I'm not against 64-bit build, but it's too big effort. This feels like blackmail: "Either invest 40ish hours of your time to compile the framework and all dependencies to 64-bit, or you won't be able to update the app fo

Android was written for 32 bit. It couldn't run 64-bit before Lollipop. Currently there's about 2% of 64-bit Android devices ( https://web.archive.org/web/20170808222202/http://hwstats.un... ). I

I'm not a professional app developer. A year ago I invested few months to develop an app I wanted to have. Today it has few thousand users. Fragmentation doesn't bother me. Yes, on some devices the app crashes, on others the sound

I skimmed through and didn't find anything inspiring. Videos for exercises look awful and not at all fun. I'm learning another lisp to be able to design an interactive world, so I expected more from this title.

The argument wasn't that people were smarter back in 70s. Instead, computers were rare, only the most motivated individuals could reach them. They were curious hackers as you say, and today's curious hackers are just as good. They

Great talk. I agree that sw is on the decline. You can see it in your OS, on the web, everywhere. Robust products are replaced with 'modern' crappy redesigns. We are surprised if the thing still works after 5 years. I don't a

Can you recommend any good materials for making this switch practical? I imagine I'd have to rethink my shopping lists, learn recipes, change the kitchen appliances, adjust social habits... Seems overwhelming and hard to do all at once

What's your take on Ink [0]? It seems to be solving the same class of problems as your specific needs for Twine. Would it work better or worse for you? [0] https://github.com/inkle/ink

I'm not sure this is meant for production? I understood it as way to call other language functions from this REPL, for convenience. You'd replace those calls with ClojureScript code. As for maintenance, I'm not worried about
